I am selling a copy of this round Viking helmet in original size.
The original with its caracteristic spectacles-like visor was found in a grave of a Viking warrior in Norway.
This is the sturdiest Viking combat helmet we have made so far.
It is made from 13 gauge steel (2.3 mms or .09 inch thick) plus the metal bands of 16 gauge steel giving the helmet a total thickness of 4 mms.or 0.16" at the rim.
The steel bands are fastened with 60 rivets. It fits even "big heads" quite well (hat size 7.3/4) (62 cms.), it has a lining inside and there is still room for some padding. It weighs abt.3.3 kgs.( 7.25 lbs.).
