Our Anglo-Saxon sword is a reproduction of a 19th century original find in the London Thames.
The sax dates from the 9th to 10th century; a sword with unusual Anglo-Saxon runes on the steel blade (Futhark). The name Beagnoth at the end of the row of runes means the rune master.
Its wooden handle is enforced with brass fittings; a strong leather sheath completes the weapon.

Blade (good quality) length: 55.5 cm / 21.8"
Width of blade: 3.8 cm / 1.5"

Sword weight: 650g / 1.43 lbs
Weight with sheath: 850 g / 1.87 lbs.
