I am selling an authentic copy of this medieval helmet in original size, handmade of steel and brass, with fine cauterised engravings.
The style of this helmet was used in many European countries in the 16th and 17th century and is called "Morion".
It is well documented that Spanish troops wore such helmets during their conquest of South America and their battles in Europe.
It fits the head quite nicely (width 19 cms/8.1/4 inch, length 21 cms/8.1/4 inch). Well suitable for decoration or roll play.
It was handmade from 18 gauge steel and weighs approx. 3.5 lbs(1.6 kg). The cotton padding is included.
