I am selling a copy of this famous Viking helmet in original size made by Deepeeka.
The original helmet was found in a Norwegian burial mound, similar helmets are shown on the Bayeux tapestry detailing the events leading to the Norman conquest and the battle of Hastings 1066AD.
For reenactors' battle this is a sturdy Viking combat helmet made by Deepeeka.
It is made from 16 gauge steel (1.5 mms or .05 inch thick).It fits even "big heads" quite well (hat size 7.3/4) (63 cms.), it has a leather chin strap and an adjustable leather lining inside and there is still room for some extra padding.
It has a chainmail neck protection and has a total weight of approx. 2 kgs.( 4.4 lbs.).
