This gladiator helmet is a reproduction of the wellknown "Maximus" helmet known from the "Gladiator" film.
However, as gladiators were actually covered with helmets that did not allow their opponent to see their eyes,
this helmet was altered to see more of Maximus' face, and so you can use it in a roll play yourself as well.
It has a cotton cap as a liner for a head size up to 63 cms./25 inch. The front mask moves just slightly up and down, it cannot be pushed up all the way.
The inside shows some rough edges which will have to be covered with a cloth. Our manufacturer forgot to even out the inside; we considered this fact when calculating the price.
Our helmet is made from 18 gauge steel.
