I am selling a copy of this medieval gorget (neck protection) of a 16th century suit of armour in original size.
It is made from 16 gauge steel and weighs 1.3 kg/2.8 lbs.
The original which is now displayed in the Louvre, Paris (formerly in the Wallace collection, London) can be seen in "A record of European Armours and Arms through Seven Centuries" by Sir Guy Francis Laking, Vol VI page 431.
It fits almost everybody quite nicely (for a maximum neck diameter of 15.5cm/6").
