This helmet replica is similar to one of the brass helmets found in the gladiator barracks of Pompeii.
One of the original helmets found is shown in the National Museum of Naples.
Our replica is also made from brass and weighs 4 kg (9 lbs). It is 42 cms.(17") high, 38 cms. (15") wide and 33 cms.(13") long for a headsize (inner circumference) of about 63/64 cm.
Inside is a liner provided for those who want to wear it.
