I am selling a very collectable figure intricately cast with a metal finish on a resin body resembling an etched and gilt suit of armour of highest quality.
Such a suit of armour was sold in 1983 by Sotheby's for £ 350,000 and another which belonged to the Emperor Mathias can be seen at the Badisches Landesmuseum Karlsruhe, Germany.The figure looks like pewter and its weight is similar to pewter, it weighs approx. 15 kg/approx.33 lbs.
The knight is about 110 cms./43" tall to the helmet tip and his sword tip is plus 10 cms. (4inch) higher.The base is 35 cms (14") x 28 cms (11").
