I am selling a copy of this Austrian helmet in original size.This style of helmet was used by "Kurassiers" throughout the early 19th century.
We made this helmet for decoration or theatrical use, because original pieces are almost unobtainable even at very high prices.
This is a leather helmet and weighs approx. 1.8 kg (4 lbs.).All metal parts including the chin straps are made of brass.It is overall 32 cms.(12.1/2 inches) high (including comb) and fits people with head size up to 59 cms (7.1/4 inch British hat size).
