I am selling a copy of a French brass helmet in original size.
The ornate crest of this helmet is very similar to Napoleonic parade helmets, but this particular model was reproduced from a French cuirassier officer's helmet introduced in 1858.
It was handmade for decoration or theatrical use, because original helmets in this style are almost unobtainable even at very high prices.
The helmet weighs approx. 1.5 kgs (3 lbs.) including all parts, it is made of brass and has a full leather liner.It is 51 cms.(20 inches) high (including top hair)and fits everybody's head size.
