This is the sturdiest Barbute combat helmet we have made so far.It is made from 13 gauge steel (2.3 mms or .09 inch thick) plus the metal bands of 16 gauge steel giving the helmet a total thickness of 4 mms.or 0.16" at the face opening.
The steel bands are fastened with 24 rivets.It fits even "big heads" quite well (hat size 7.3/4) (62 cms.), it has a lining inside and there is still room for some padding.It weighs abt.2.6 kgs.( 5.7 lbs.).
