I am selling a copy of a French Napoleonic light infantry shako in its original size, as it was used during the Napoleonic wars until their end at Waterloo.
It was handmade for decoration or theatrical use, because original shakos in this style are almost unobtainable even at very high prices. The shako is made from pressed felt and extremely light, it weighs approx. 1.3 kgs (2.2 lbs.) .It is 31 cms (12 inches) high (including top pompon) and fits everybody's head size.
