I am selling an authentic copy of this Russian helmet in original size. This style of helmet was used by the Czar's 2 guards regiments: The chevalier Guard and the Life Guard Cuirassiers of His Majesty the Czar.
We made this helmet for decoration or theatrical use, because original pieces are almost unobtainable even at very high prices. One original of these helmets was sold in Munichs Hermann Historica auction at abt. $ 10,000.00 .
The helmet weighs approx. 1.7 kg (approx. 4 lbs.). It is made of brass and German silver and has a leather lining. It is 40 cms.(16 inches) high (including eagle) and fits a normal head size when the chin strap is properly set.
