I am selling an authentic copy of this rare German helmet in original size. This style of helmet was used by the Prussian guard cuirassiers, from 1894 until the end of WWI.We made this helmet for decoration, theatrical use and for collectors, because original pieces are almost unobtainable even at very high prices.On top you find the Prussian eagle in nickel silver carrying a gilded crown.
The helmet weighs approx. 1.7 kgs (3.75 lbs.) including all parts, it is made of copper and has a leather lining.
It is 36 cms.(14 inches) high (including crown) and fits head sizes up to 64 cms. (25") when the chin strap is properly set.
