The appearance of this sword aligns itself to prominent films, that, in turn, based their making-up on grave-finds and illustrations left on Egyptian reliefs. Attached to the grip are god Anubis with the head of a jackal, god of the dead, for deterrence and a scarab as amulet for protection of the sword carrier. The sword is 88cm (34.6 inches) long, 90cm (35.4 inches) when inside the scabbard.
