Norse Helms are a Non-Medable form of armor that can be worn by both Humans and Elves. They are crafted by blacksmiths, and can be recycled using a Salvage Bag or smith tool. To perform either action your character must be standing near an anvil and forge. Smelting provides a better return if you have a high level of mining.

This domed helmet is a fantasy variation on a c.900 CE Gjermundbu-style helmet found in Norway. This carbon steel helmet featured riveted cross band running from side to side and front to back, plus one around the rim of the crown. Riveted ear flaps. Brass knot work is featured across the top of the helmet, and around the head band. Brass brows and nose guard are also featured.
