I am selling a high quality authentic copy of a crusaders' helmet in original size. This style of helmet was used around 1300.
This heavy iron helmet with its narrow eye slits and many air holes was one of the famous crusaders' helmets and its front is reinforced by a brass crusaders' cross. It is coloured black.
It is ready to wear and will fit everybody, even a "big" head, and it is padded inside (see bottom photo)
It is 28 cms/ 11 inches high (front) and 23 cms/ 9 inches in the back.
It measures inside 20 cms./ 8" from ear to ear and 23 cms/ 9" from front to back.
It was made handmade from 18 gauge steel and weighs 2.3 kgs./ 5 lbs.
