I am selling an authentic copy of this medieval helmet in original size. This style of helmet was used in the 16th and 17th century in many European countries.
It had a comb like the Morion but gave better protection by the front piece and closed visor. The original from which our helmet was copied appears to be of German origin.
The helmet weighs 2.2 kgs.(approx.5 lbs.) It is made with 18 gauge steel trimmed in brass. It is 20 cms.(8inches) wide and 26 cms.(10.1/2 inches) from neck to front.
